Finishing up a bowl of C&D Pegasus.
The pipe rack is now on hold because someone (I'd prefer to use a different term here but I'll keep it PG) used my sander and left it in the rain and now the pad came off. All is cut and fitted though. Now I'm aggravated so it's time for a shower. I'll continue this project tomorrow.

Sutliff Rum and Maple in a CurlyTop straight pear one - off. The draw was restricted since I got it, so I reamed it to 5/32 and tapered the shank and stem to match. Now smoking Wilke Cherry Cavendish in a much improved pipe! French pressed Guatemalan coffee on the side.

Good morning, you all. First smoke of this weekend; McConnell's 'Pure Orient' in a Brakner Antique.
I love this pickaxe pipe shape. 👍 I do have a weakness for Danish pipes from the 50s and 60s and I have several pickaxes. Maybe I'll have a pickaxe day.

Our local supermarket was all out of Blue Capstan, so I had to make do with the yellow one. (The punishment for not making The Danish Pipe Shop this morning). It's a long time since I've smoked it and when I opened the tin, it was unrecognizable. It looked exactly like the blue version; nothing like the inviting golden colour I remember. The taste is rather bland; maybe it'll get better after a couple of bowls or I can try to dolly it up with something. Luckily, they had Three Nuns, but it doesn't seem like the two new versions, the green and the yellow ones, are available here in the country of its making. The bland one in a Stanwell no. 179 - Royal Briar.

C&D Virginia Gentleman in the dog chewed Blue Riband. I really do not care for this blend any more. It tastes too much like a cigarette to me. More coffee to drink.
