Late post due to a hectic work day.
Breakfast was Rattray's Old Gowrie, from 2007, in a Capitol Bruyeure author. Work smokes today: Own Mystery Blend in a couple of cobs.

Now smoking Peter Heinrichs Golden Sliced in a 2015 smooth unfinished Savinelli 320KS author with a black vulcanite stem. Watching Perry Mason. I have been binge watching Perry Mason. Three a night. Some pipe smoking, and not signaling an intellectual or a bad guy, or a good guy for that matter. Lots of cigarette smoking. Lots of really nice cars. Really nice, and un-selfconcsciously depicted. Folks just drove 'em. A whole lot of people sitting on desks. Curious.

Recently tried Russ Oullette's Acadian Gold from P&C. I thought it was very good and very unique. I've never tasted anything quite like it.

Recently tried Russ Oullette's Acadian Gold from P&C. I thought it was very good and very unique. I've never tasted anything quite like it. Sounds like I better put that on my list. It is unique in that Russ gave some Canadian Virginia the same treatment that they give to perique, only they didn't let it ferment as long due to the high sugar content of the Virginia. They only made two barrels of it, so if you're interested, get some while it is available. I just ordered five tins last night. The best way to buy it is the "Gold Medal" tobacco sampler - it is like getting a free tin of Dunhill's Ye Olde Signe.

Now smoking Drexel VIII in a smooth straight early 1960s Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Have enough for one more bowl.

Now smoking Dunhill Early Morning Pipe (this is actually my first pipe of the day, I STILL follow that bizarre craziness of going by the names of the blends) in my Savinelli Professor Rusticated 901 with an acrylic stem. Gatorade G2 Lower Sugar Fruit Punch is my drink.
Wrestling a mound of paperwork.
