Have any of you tried Arango Balkan Supreme? I was told by the owner of our local B&M that it should be a good replacement for my beloved and no longer available Wilke #10. JimInks gives it high marks as do several other reviewers on Tobacco Reviews. I plan on heading over to Edward's soon to procure some. Apparently it is widely available as a bulk blend. Not sure how I missed it.

I smoke it quite often. Very good nuanced Balkan, somewhat reminiscent of the lamented Balkan Sobranie. Yep, widely available in bulk.

It's good stuff, at a great price for what it is.

Now I bought a pound of Balkan Supreme II from Tinderbox before it closed, and can find nothing out about it.
Probably just Balkan Supreme original... Tinderbox relabeled a lot of P Stokkebye blends.

The Arango Balkan Supreme is an outstanding smoke. Had some courtesy of AJ. He is one solid friend, never stops thinking about his friends.

Having smoked BS's 759 (black/gold tin) for almost 30 years when it went away I tried many other Balkan blends and finally found one to equal 759, Arango's Balkan Supreme ! Once you smoke it you will not smoke any other Balkan !!

Once you smoke it you will not smoke any other Balkan !! I do love it, and was a dedicated 759 smoker, but I hafta say the C&D Engine 99 is Damn good also. Maybe a tad less complex, but with more smokiness.

Found a couple jars from 2013 last night. The fermented smell and taste of the Va's was delicious and the Lat has faded some. Looks like there's some Squadron Leader from the same time frame hiding with it!

Sir Darin of Cobrock...formerly Sir Darin of Cobscott! With the move up in society, an advancement in title.... inside humor with Darin. He used to live in Prescott, I sent a package to his house addressed to Sir Darin of Cobscott (back when his username was cobguy) His wife got the package and asked What is this?
He now lives in Rimrock.

Fortunately the Englewood, CO Edwards has probably at least 250 blends, maybe more in tins. They have all the Dunhill, Peterson, C&D etc., but also some of the less encountered labels. It is a real treat browsing their tin selection.

Have any of you tried Arango Balkan Supreme? I smoked quite a bit of Peter Stokkebye's Balkan Supreme in the past and have some jarred. It's an excellent Balkan at a great price.

I believe they are the same from what I have been told. Looking forward to it. I did not make it over to our Edwards though. Maybe next week.
