I bought this cherrywood/poker for my dad since he liked my Grabow so much. I just cleaned it all up for him. It's not perfect, but I'm sure he'll be happy with it. Original:  A little sanding:  Finished:   Edit: what I learned this time. Don't sand the stummel/shank and stem separately. |

Nice looking pipe. Good job on the cleanup/resto.
I wish I could get my dad off the cowboy killers and on to a pipe. I guess he enjoys coughing to the point of choking at 4 am.

Cramp you stumbled on a secret, Savory Curzon Pokers are the best, I have one like yours and a larger one, they are hands down better than my most expensive pipes. You did your Dad a good thing.
