What Do You Do With Your Empty Tins?

Local recycling center accepts mine.

Good question. I haven't got one yet, but I like the thought of keeping them... But I've nothing to put in them so I'll probably bin them.

If anything, I use them to store screws and nails etc.

Toss 'em in the recycle box. I don't have enough to take them to recycle, and I don't even know if they would be accepted.

I like smoking from the tin, and I usually don't jar. I was thinking that when certain brands become scarce in this country and the only tins I can get are the garish "yer gonna die or grow a third eye" tins I might transfer contents to my more pleasing tins.

AS needed I save some to use for keeping small stuff like screws and nuts / bolts and give the rest to my sister who runs a re-sale shop wher the money from all sales goes to a local charity. I think they get $1.00 each for them and I give here 10 to 12 a year. 

Recycle, when they start piling up.

I would send mine over to you, but that might cost more than the tobacco inside.

I use mine to dispose of accumulated wax.

Mine go into the recycle bin.

I keep a few for ash trays that can be re-sealed with the lid, the rest go in the recycle bin.

If your smoking station is a shack or garage, you can screw or glue them to a wall for your own tobacco billboard.

I save mine. Right now they're in a box of other useless crap I'll probably never use. They're too convenient to just throw away though. My 8 year old asked me to save him some as well.

Also, I only have about 15 empty ones. Most of my tobacco has been bulk purchases and put in jars. There are quite a few unopened ones in the cellar.

another old-timer (older even than me)! always only smoked OTC stuff, but his wifie enjoys 'em for wall art. Always insisted I just give 'em away, but he insists in re-imburse the ship + some extra.
