I’ve been lurking here for a week or so, so I thought I should join in! I’ve smoked a pipe on and off since high school (now 62) and just started again after about 8-10 years of a weekly cigar. I’m not new to forums by any means, but this is the friendliest, most well behaved forum I’ve been on.😊
Sadly, I’m a real fan of McClelland tobaccos and threw out my stash of about 10 tins before a move. You can imagine how I feel after finding out they just went out of business. I found some on eBay for way too much, but the good news is, I found Seattle Pipe Club Yakima Valley. I think it just might be better than the Frog. Smoking it now in a MM Rob Roy.
Looking forward to spending many pleasant smokes with you all.
Oh, going to the Columbus pipe show this Friday to spend my allowance!

Greetings from Washington State. I am also mystified regarding the disposal of 10 McClelland tins? Well, the thinking was, this stuff is really old and I wasn’t smoking a pipe at that time. I figured I just buy new tobacco if I took up the pipe again. I regret it now!

flybypipe: were in a real state of flux now with some significant changes that have taken place while you were away from your pipe.

Just look for the lady in purple with a guy taking pictures of almost every pipe there, lol.

Welcome to the forum, sorry to hear about the tobacco dump! It isn’t as bad as selling an old painting only for it to show up on antiques roadshow with a six figure appraisal.... that... would be hard to recover from.
