Since I started a thread showing the 2 Ronnies, I thought I'd see what other people's favourite comedy Duos are.
2 Ronnies are hard to beat. The clip below shows their genius where they answer questions from the previous question...
Also hard to beat morecambe and wise...

When I was in my teens there was a movie place that showed nothing but those old comedies. For half a buck you could watch them as long as you wanted to.Or until your candy money ran out.

Johnny Carson and his numerous comedic guest stars. He'd play staightman for their success and the audience's benefit.

These guys were very good together- "Charters and Caldicott". From "Night Train to Munich" and "The Lady Vanishes.

Martin and Lewis are the epitome of comic duos. Possibly matched only by George and Gracie.

I'm with don on Bob and Ray, but also Andy Griffith and Don Knotts. Burns and Schreiber. Burns replaced Barney Fife and with Andy was quite funny. Sally Rodgers and Buddy Sorell Korman and Conners. and as far as Abbott and Costello, Abbott was the finest straight man of all the names on this page

There are a lot of responses here of duos that I had either forgotten or I didn't even know existed.

The comedy of Rowan and Martin supported by their hilarious cast on Laugh In must be considered βGeniusβ. One of the best comedies in the last 50 years. IMHO
