What a remarkable talent, she really put her soul into her music and could really belt it out with perfect pitch.... RIP Aretha.
I believe that she is one of the several performers featured in Muscle Shoals the movie... I saw it on Netflix... a great movie/ documentary.

Great talent, conducted herself with great presence, no crapola these modern day things do. Respect was and is what I had for her.

sure a classic "straight shooter", little what called "flash" now. Just gorgeous singing and yeah, that perfect pitch!

Thinking back on her music took me to my days at my intergrated school in the middle 1960s. Many of you remember what was happening back then. Most all of us loved her music and she was our Queen. We danced together to her songs on the phonograph and other Motown artists. For a time, we all got along just fine.

RIP Aretha.
A set of pipes like that are few and far between among today's pop stars.
