Does anyone have one of the Bones Anse pipes? What is your opinion of them? Are they worth the money?
I am looking at them because money is tight and I want a Briar Anse.
Thx

John ^^^^^^ I know 2 pipe smokers that own the Bones version of the Devil Anse.....both tell me they’re superb smokers and perfect for clenching. One I held in my hand, well balanced, light weight and extremely well crafted for the price. Go on YouTube and you’ll find reviews on the Bones Devil Anse Pipe. I’ve yet to see a Bones pipe that I wouldn’t be proud to own in my rotation 👍👍

The Bones bent Poker looks like a $150.00 pipe, at $39.99 I had to order one👍👍. The Morgan pipes get excellent reviews.

Would these be good as my second pipe ? Really like the look of bent brandy or graceful. Cost seems to be good, looks like a good next step from my mm cob.

Last week I ordered the Poker with a slight bend to the stem. Should arrive next week. There are a few videos on YouTube reviewing Bones pipes 👍 Only paid $39.99👌👌👍

I have a Stubby "20", which is a full bent stubby pipe. It rests on my chin, and smokes VERY cool. I'll be buying another Bones sooner than later.

They are worth the $40 but let's be real, they are a $40 pipe. Factory made and churned out by the thousands - these are not going to blow your socks off. They are fine as a daily beater, shop pipe, etc. I would buy mine again. It is worth $40.

Well worth the money. I own $100.00 Pipes that don’t preform like my Bones Dublin that cost $39.99👌👍

I just read yesterday that they're basically 2nds from a large Italian factory - possibly Savinelli. $40 is even cheaper than the regular unifinished Savs, so if that is indeed what they are it's a great price. But the marketing on the MB website does lead one to believe that they are more like a boutique brand.

At that price I'd be tempted to pick one up myself if they're available in the UK.
Edit... They are available. For £38.50 I can pick one up.

Here is what I have re:Bones pipe. The Radiator pipe is the brainchild of Hekthor Wiebe, together with Chris Morgan the marriage of a Radiator assembly with one of Chris' Bones Stack Bowl is a beautiful marriage. I just had to give this system a try and it arrived just before I headed out for a haircut so I loaded it with some No. 22 Virginia Flake which I'm keeping it smokey with now that I'm back. banjo

The Wiebe Radiator Pipe is made in Canada herbindave and the base portion can be purchased separately, he has several styles including a bent, see more at his website. www.hwiebe.com I don’t know if he carries the Bones Stack Bowls or you have to get them from Chris Morgan but when I got it I purchased it through the Wiebe Store on the website, cheers. banjo
