Sons from Texas came this weekend, hadn't seen them in over a year, bought shrimp from a couple down the road, one son bought some also, 15/16 to the pound.

Sons like them fried, those big ones are best broiled in heavy lemon, butter, and cracked black pepper, with French bread for sopping the butter pepper juice.

Brad, they are huge👍👍. I’d eat them any style of cooking. I’m sure ya’ll had a feast, do you ship to NC.....lol. They don’t do shrimp well down “ heir “ in NC, the best are the extra large in the freezer section at Costco.....I don’t like to eat any frozen fish!!!

She has still given me a few moments of concern, but since yesterday she really does seem normal. My posting goes up and down with happenings here. More things happening lately. I haven't even had the time to get suspended on Twitter again

That is exactly what she would do with larger shrimp. The texture is so different, you can't really treat them like smaller ones. I can taste the soggy French bread now. She was originally from the Mississippi coast and lived on a small island about 4 miles off the coast of Alabama in the days before there was a bridge. So a trip to the grocery store was a day-long affair--taking a boat to Mobile and back. She was an amazing cook, never measured anything, and could walk into a kitchen with a fairly bare pantry and whip up something good in short order. Anyway--enjoyed your post and looking at your shrimp, and thinking of "Bigmama."
