Went a brisk walk without Pop, lots of cars & fumes , fuming by, sat in a car park of an old pub with a bottle of Manns brown ale, smoking my pipe a young family arrived giving me dark looks with my pipe smoking, I drank up and walked on . Sat on the Verandah of an old mansion , now a museum, overlooking the rose garden and sloping fields with out of control dogs walking off the lead, A clear view through the full green trees of the Welsh hills beyond the Mersey, the Wirral & the Dee, so near yet so far...

Puffing on a bit more of my Blakemar & Holger Dane & whiskey flavour, with a nightcap of Laphroaig triple wood, in my Laphroaig tasting glass, pipe dreaming of Holy Joes Yeti haunting the Victorian streets looking for the ghosts of old Sherlock and his good doctor, then I woke up and it was just my hairy old dog pestering my night dreams...
