Bullseye Flake is a great smoke but requires some age IMHO. Jar it, set it back for a few years, let the coins turn dark brown and give it a go afterwards.

I really don't think I'd have the patience for aging tobacco. I'd love to, but I don't. Almost everything I smoke now is between five and thirteen years old when I first started cellaring. It's well worth the wait and enterprise; however, I know the economics are vastly different for y'all across the pond.

Aging is the reason I currently buy so much. 90% of it gets put back in jars.
I like the bullseye flake fresh, but I only kept about 10 coins out to smoke now. The rest of the pound is jarred up, sealed, and sitting in the dark. All the good things I've heard about it being aged will be worth the wait.
My last "big" order was over 4 1/2 lbs, 4 lbs of it is cellared. In a few years I'll be able to enjoy some really great smokes.

There’s an interesting segment on how this is made on the Orlik tour video on pipesmagazine.com edit: just out of curiosity how much is an oz of this in SoCal? If my shop here in the 608 had it I’d bet it would cost around $7.50 or $8.00.

I agree, a minimum of 3 years of aging and superb with 5 plus years of aging👍👍. A couple of months ago I gifted 4 .oz I jarred back in 2011 in a fancy jar. My friend is really enjoying it!!!

Sage advice. l'm already there and not buying anymore. I won't smoke what I have on hand. Passing it along now in drips.

Five years age on LBF and it becomes sublime. Can't believe the difference from fresh. If you can store it away for that long you won't be disappointed.

I got a bit to smoke but most I put away for aging. Future orders Im going to try and keep some to enjoy for the moment and the rest put away for future bliss. I cant wait to report back in five years and more.
