This blend is comprised of small coins and lose, stringy ribbons. I recommend letting them air dry for approximately 15 minutes. The tin note smells like raisins and figs. I filled the bowl by packing the loose strands between the coins. Upon lighting, I sense citrus, raisins, figs, traces of wood, something sweet (maybe molasses?) and nuts . Throughout the smoke, it’s savory sweet and moderately spicy. At times, it’s mouthwateringly sour. It burns at a moderate rate, and is not harsh. I’ve smoked about an ounce in various size/shaped briars, and all are favorable. The nicotine level is almost medium. It’s more than medium in body/taste. Director’s Cut is essentially a very robust VaPer, due to the burley and Kentucky tobaccos. If you enjoy stronger VaPer blends, I highly recommend it.

Good review, Sam. Took me awhile to adjust to it, being stronger than my usual choices. Just a few bowls left, but enjoying them more than I did at the start. I would clarify that while it is somewhat strong, it does not induce the spins.

Excellent review Sam, I’ve smoked a few bowls in my time and enjoyed the blend. Definitely not for a newbie unless your also a cigar smoker of those “ air benders “! If you know what to do this blend is still available 👌👍. I have 2 pint size jars cellared, that’s enough for me!! I don’t care for the sourness in any blend.

Sounds like something I'd like. Where did you purchase it? I don’t care for the sourness in any blend. Is Directors Cut overly sour?

Nope, more Burley in Director’s cut......in this order the blend is made.......Burley, Kentucky, Perique, Virginia. Some Virginia’s can be overly sour to my taste if not aged a few years, in this blend Virginia is the last component, means a lower percentage in the blend👍👍
