Any plans for the weekend ? New pipes , cigars ? Relaxing outside ? Fishing hiking boating. What else do you guys do ? I will be working Saturday and Sunday smoking by the pool if the weather is nice. If it is not nice I’ll be cleaning out my garage of baby boy clothes, found out we are having a girl. I saved a whole garage full of boys stuff and now it will be donated to someone in need. Let’s hear it... 😁

Now a days....just waking up the next day with little pain and enjoying my pipes and tobacco’s this weekend will be my enjoyment 👍 Tuesday afternoon I’m leaving Knightdale and going back to Clayton. I have a few projects I started that need to be finished properly. I did enough cooking and prepping while here visiting, I’ll be back by September 11th most likely 👌👍

Congrats on the girl! I have 3 boys that are mine and a daughter that I've raised since birth.
This weekend it would be nice to do NOTHING. It was a busy week at work and I'm exhausted. But, I cant sit around, I have to be doing something. I might cut down the garden and get it ready to plant again. I've been putting it off for a few weeks now. Other than that, I'm sure I'll be out in the shed at some point, maybe I'll get around to some more tampers.

I'd like to go on the boat, but we'll see. Definitely mowing at some point. I'd also like to chainsaw out the HUGE stump that used to have clematis growing on it, and make a new fire pit area.
We wanted to go to the beach with another family, but they didn't want to get up early. You gotta get there really early if you're going OSV. Instead, we might have a picnic dinner.
Still waiting until my birthday for all my lathe/sanding parts and supplies, so no pipe making yet. :-(
Soon, though, soon.
Also, congrats! Is it your first girl?

I work every weekend ... three 12-hour shifts. Going back to work this time was like getting a reprieve compared to the wrenching I did this week on my motorcycle!

Universal monster movies marathon tonight with a nice bowl or two. Finishing cutting the yard tomorrow morning and then refinishing the fireplace mantle. Not sure about tomorrow night. I am sure she will tell me. Sunday will be a few hours at the range helping a buddy sight in his rifles he's taking for a hunt to Africa. Then, I'll probably head to the office for a bit. Pipe smoking will be generously spread throughout.

Since you asked, from the end of April to early October, my irrigation duties are seven days per week. Weekends have little meaning.
I must service my vehicles. This means chasing the goats and sheep out of the shed where the grease pit is located and fixing what they damaged. Then, I get to hang out under trucks. Nice and cool down there. Maybe I will take a nap?

I'll be replacing a sill in my house and putting in a door and window. Then residing that side of the house. If I find time we'll go Jeeping with some friends.
Congrats-on the baby girl!

I don't know about the other guys here that have daughters, but having my girl changed me. It made me a better man, and softened my rough spots. My son just goes about his stuff, and I don't worry about him in the least. With my daughter, I'm the typical bull dog when it comes to her safety.

Going to drain the gas from my Gold Wing and put some fresh in it. If that doesn't work it going to Honda next week to get the injectors cleaned. Going to start writing my memoirs before I forget.

Sit on my arse and do what I usually do...smoke my pipes, annoy my wife, aggravate my puppy, repeat the first three things.
Congrats on the new young lady to be.

I've been singing in the church choir for a couple of decades now. Every summer we take a break. This weekend is our retreat, meaning we'll be familiarizing and refamiliarizing ourselves with most of the music we'll be singing from now through the Christmas program.
So, I'll be there from 8am to 5 pm tomorrow. After that I'm teeing em up and gonna get in a round before the sun goes down.
Blondie is heading to Raleigh to spend time with our youngest son Nick.
Sunday I'll be singing in church and then hopping on a plane to Chicago, have meetings Monday.

Emerson is a great name even if you don't hear it much. American Royalty.
