I personally would much rather have a brand new one, and take the other 69 million and have LOTS of fun. Like buying the Penzance factory...lol

I've never owned one, but I had the opportunity to drive a Ferrari back in the 80s... WAY different than driving a normal automobile.

This just goes to show that if you want a classic car, buy one now. They’re not getting any cheaper.
When I was a kid my father sold a Roadrunner 440 for $800. You couldn’t give those things away in the late 1970’s. Boy, I’d sure like to have that now.

I drove a Ferrari a few times while living in Europe, the only road I really enjoyed driving the car on was the autobahn in Germany. I found the car to be to much of a hassle driving on roads at low speeds with many twists and turns on those narrow small roads. Not many major thoroughfare’s on The Island of Malta.Yet the wealthy need to own one just for prestige!!

Way back in the day, I came back from S Asia, my best buddy had started working for a Dredge Company while I was in the service, made Dredge Master, big bucks, I spent one weekend in New Orleans with him and his new car. A Carroll Shelby Cobra, we got tooted, then he let me drive it at 3 in the morning on Canal street, I put the hammer to it and the little sucker smoked the tires and started drifting across to to other side of Canal, the wrong way, I let up and punched it again sliding back to the lane of traffic I should have been on, smokeing the tires as we went our way, too drunk to care, Some Devine something was with us that night. Never drove the car again, guess once was enough for him. He sold it telling me it was not a car for someone who liked to drink. Looking back he should have kept it.

Now, I DID own one of those back in the old days...

For those old enough (and with some coin) to have bought and used Ferrari back in the 60s-70s, any regrets?😁 PS For reference,I know I should have bought older Fender and Gibson guitars back in the 80s and early 90s.😔😖😲😖😔
