Pudding and I are going to the show for my 53rd birthday! WOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!
Will a few if not more of you fine learned gentlemen chime in and tell me what to expect? I would like to know about the atmosphere, tempo and deals.
Any help given will be greatly appreciated .

I don't know about this particular show but prepare for mind blowing amounts of everything pipe related.

Tins are harder to come by than pipes, but there will be plenty of both. The best part is the people especially after the show winds down and everyone is free to hang out.

I'm envious. That's something I'd love to go to. Actually, I must check if there are UK ones... I've never heard of any in Ireland anyway.

I did the KC show a few years ago. It was a nice time. Great little smoking tent outside, nice people, plenty of fun. Much smaller scale than say Chicago, but I'm sure it will be overwhelming none the less.

Unless I change my mind this will be the second time I've missed this show going back at least four locations going back to when this show had the early November dates. The hotel is expensive but is very nice and it still has smoking rooms so you can still enjoy a traditional pipe show smoke filled room at night. Man we had 15 guys sitting around in my buddies room Friday and Saturday nights. Here's a tip, I always have a big rubber band to cover the smoke detector with a wet washcloth in my kit.  |

There's usually quite a bit of tobacco at our show. Last year Adam Brown showed up with a truck load (seriously). I haven't talked to him in a while, but I'm expecting him to show up again this year. Friday and Saturday evening the smoking tent will be hopping. We're hoping for some cooler weather this year...hoping.
