I feel I got a steal of a deal for this on ebay, I know nothing about them except they are made by Comoy. I wanted to try a briar pipe and especially one made in England. Anyone have experience with these. Hopefully it will be a descent smoker when I get it cleaned up...after it arrives of course.

Congrats, enjoy it. Should clean up nicely, been searching around and refurbishment doesn’t seem to hard to tackle.

Looks good and also doesn't look like it'll take too much effort to clean up.

Nice pipe...it needs a restoration, not one that’s to difficult. If your handy and have patience and knowledge take the leap and restore the pipe. If done properly that pipe will look as good as new when complete👍 Congratulations and enjoy for many years!!!

I haven't owned any Astors, but I have had very good luck with any pipe stamped "London" or "England".
Seems the Brits were way ahead of the curve when it comes to making pipes with nice open airways.
