After reading the Edwards thread I decided to grab the bigun. A beautiful big ol edwards I received from my good friend Mike. On the top of the shank is the Edwards nomenclature in cursive. The underside of the shank has Algerian Briar and the numerals 27. The stem has France stamped on it. Tonight I loaded it up with some 10 YO MM965. This is gonna be a long and enjoyable smoke. ;-) Still sippin Glenrothes.

Wellp, the 965 is all smoked up.
I know, only 1 hr & 45 minutes. (I might have been puffin a bit heavy, good stuff and all)
Decided to load up the Stanwell poker with a nice bowl full of 2011 Margate. Yeah, I really love this stuff too. ;-)

So, all day yesterday I enjoyed 15 bowls of Stonehaven. My first 3 bowls I rolled, folded and stuffed. My next 12 I broke up easily to half inch pieces and rubbed out a bit. The difference...less re-lights, burned completely to a fine ash, definitely a much sweeter enjoyable smoke with a very pleasant after taste. So, I guess you all figured out how I much prefer any Flake tobacco’s. It’s well worth the extra time and effort.
Now back to my regularly scheduled blends.....
Peretti's DD date 2/2016 Pipe of choice: restored to mint condition...Mastercraft Oom Paul 2" stack pipe. 👍👍

Holy crap that is a lot of tins. I never have more than 6-10 or so at a time. ...lol... that will change soon... Well, I am a bulk smoker primarily. I've been a bulk smoker since I moved on from drug store tobaccos 12 or so years ago. I keep big quantities in huge bail lid jars and that is my daily rations. What I keep in tins is almost just to compliment my daily flavours I take out of jars. My problem is when I amass too many tins, I hate putting them in little jars to stay fresh, because I think the tins are cool to look at (stupid, I know), and the tobacco dries out.
