Loading a bowl of Condor Long Cut (Irish) for a small smoke in a no name panelled pipe from the 40's. This pipe is so small you can only load half a flake...great for strong or sacred flakes (Condor Plug or Long Cut). ...recently acquired one very similar to yours... but it has a sterling band, which is a bit strange for a pipe like that... Is the silver band possibly a repair band?

Comoy's No.2 (one of my top 10) in a Kaywoodie #5017. I would estimate it as a long Bing type pipe. It's a long pipe with a small bowl. It's perfect for a quick smoke.

Finally decided to try my open tin of Molto Dulce. The moisture content (PG) has scared me. Smoking it in an H.I.S. bent apple. It sure is aromatic. The room note is fantastic. I think I'm getting some almond extract here. I shouldn't have waited so long...

I thought about drying it, but decided to just go for it tonight. I will definitely give it some drying time next time, but it is very good, nonetheless.

I have about 12 .oz or so, works well with a cube cut Burley 👍👍

Stonehaven year 2012 Pipe of choice: Comoy’s #215.....a superb smoker👌👍👍👍 Love that pipe, Ted. Love all my Comoys, only have 2 left and those will go to AJ when I am on my deathbed, but he got the others just cause he is a great guy. I miss my Blue Riband a little but I know he likes it just as much as I did. Love makes the world so much better.

AJ, loves his Comoy’s & Edwards Pipes, he also told me in the past how he missed you....it was like you did a Howard Hugh’s....lol The Comoy’s pipe above I’ve been looking for one in mint condition for quite some time. Al Jones aka SSJones had this beauty. Great guy and a pleasure to do business with👌👍👍a

As many here know, I smoke most of my cigars out on the golf course or on the veranda of the club after a round, as well as up in my cave during the monthly poker gatherings.
Most of my pipe smoking, when not on the road, is up in the cave or out on my back deck.
This evening, after a great round of golf with a good friend, I had dinner with Blondie and our oldest son Seth, watched an episode of Suits, and then made my way up to the cave.
After a call back to AZ to check on my folks I decided to reach not for a pipe for my first smoke of the evening but opened up my special humidor (the one with my Cubans) and treat myself to one of my favorites....
A Partagas Serie D No. 4. I can't tell you how much I love these. Depending on the review you read you'll see such descriptions as nutty, white pepper, sweetness, etc... And although these all are true to some degree, for me it's the buttery creaminess that is just out of this world. Almost good enough to eat!
Anyway, I'm about half way through this exquisite gift from the tobacco gods, sippin a glass of Glenrothes, neat!
In the end, my folks are doing as well as could be expected, my lil sis and her family are all doing great. My kids are all happy and healthy, what more could a guy ask for?
Definitely more blessed than I deserve.
Cheers

I started the day with a Savinelli 320 EX filled with Billy Budd Blonde. Just yummy.
Moved on to some Billy Budd Blonde in a 320 EX. Just a wonderful sitting back and getting everything I want from a smoke.
Followed by BBB in a chimney stack. Oh mannnn. A sitting forward experience.
Followed by, well, I have been smoking Blonde all day. Like an old friend who tells you new stories with every visit.

Having a mid evening bowl of my usual smoke, Royal Yacht in my Mountbatten Canadian in what was a Tanshell finish but it's nowhere near tan after 30+ years of smoking! A cuppa iced chiccory coffee 'Nawlins style on the side.
