Trying to break in a much abused Savinelli Estrella. It has a replacement stem, but it is well done and I got it on the cheap so not a big deal. Overrun with cake on the top and bare briar at the heel. So going to put a few half bowls of C&D Pegasus through it over the next few days. Try to get some heel cake going.

Morning Josh, Hope your day is starting out good....and is a day of rest and enjoyment thinking about your new future of peace and rest. Just filled a bowl with AJ #8, a special blend that brother AJ put together in a smooth briar with diamond shank and stem.

This morning I begin breaking in the Kaywoodie #51 Relief Grain Billiard. 1/3 of a bowl of Peter Stokkebye Proper English shared with me by Josh, roadsdiverged. The draw is just fine on the pipe and the tobacco was very delightful indeed.

Enjoying a southwestern morning smoking SV-23 Perique blend in a southwestern Danish freehand, courtesy of Don Warren in ABQ.
I am going to make it a point to buy one of his pipes in Vegas at the pipe show since this one was free.... it smokes everything wonderfully!

Not far from finishing this bowl of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem. Lunch is nearly ready, and the Braves are about to play a double header against the Red Sox. A can of the almost illegally delicious Hansen's Mandarin Lime soda made with pure cane sugar is my drink.
