Enjoying a southwestern morning smoking SV-23 Perique blend in a southwestern Danish freehand, courtesy of Don Warren in ABQ. I am going to make it a point to buy one of his pipes in Vegas at the pipe show since this one was free.... it smokes everything wonderfully! Don’s Pipes are superbly crafted, fabulous smokers👌👍👍 He’s a real nice guy to sit down with and enjoy a pipe together, a great conversationalist!!

Enjoyed a tasty lunch with cherry pie for dessert, and am now smoking year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. Suzy kept wanting more wet food, and I'm not entirely certain who out ate who? That cat eats like a goat.

Stonehaven year 2012 Pipe of choice: Unfinished Savinelli Series III Billiard pipe. With over 800 uses the briar achieved a dark rich color from wiping the pipe with bee’s wax and mineral oil mixture after each use. It’s a “ fugly “ pipe with the huge 11 fills but an outstanding smoker....that’s what counts👌👍👍

Light rain here this morning so I've been on a McC. kick. Now I'm having a bowl of FM 2000 in my first pipe I bought, my grp3 size GBD "Warwick" shell finshed apple w/SB. Iced chiccory coffee, 'Nawlins style on the side.

Loading a bowl of Condor Long Cut (Irish) for a small smoke in a no name panelled pipe from the 40's. This pipe is so small you can only load half a flake...great for strong or sacred flakes (Condor Plug or Long Cut).

Rattray's Bagpiper's Dream in an old estate Dr. Grabow billiard. It's an amazing aromatic. I had a tin for about three weeks, and while I organizing the cellar, it dawned on me that I should at least smoke it before deciding on getting more...although, I will be ordering more...lots more.

A wonderful bowl of C&D Engine 99 in my Pibe Dan reform cabbaged tribute. I'm beginning to think I don't many other Balkan blends besides this. Glad of red plonk on the side. The plonk isn't bad either.
