That is good news for those facing that issue. I worked with a guy who was color blind. We always knew when his wife was pissed at him based on what he wore to work that day.

That's awesome. My dad's color blind. It became an issue when we emigrated to the States. In England, all traffic lights were vertical, and there were only three. Over here, some were horizontal and there might be more than three - he was never sure if the light was red or green. Quite a few times we had to yell at him.

I've been colorblind all my life as most are and it's never really given me a big problem. I've been a electronics/computer tech, painter, truck driver, etc. Although Ma Bell denied me a job back in the 70's because of it I've seemed to get long fine, except for the occasional chartreuse pipe.

In the Air Force, one of my jobs was to give the hearing and vision tests to the fighter pilots. One day, my Chief came through and handed me a new "revised" book to test from. The next time testing came around, two pilots failed miserably even though they seemed to take the test with confidence. Turns out, they had memorized the previous book that had been in use for a long time.
