The kids seem to have a problem working together without arguing and fighting so today I tied their legs together 3 legged race style and had the go outside and clean up dog crap in the yard and then hose off sidewalk clean the fire ring and whatever else will come to mind in the next hour before dark...

Sounds like good exercise to me sir. Kids have got to learn that just because they don't like what there doing or who there doing it with, things don't stand still for them and the job has still got to be done. Sooner or later they'll come up against this in the work force or even military and find out no one's gona put up with "I don't Wanna!" and there gona have ta or starve......or worse.
