I have an old pipe from the 60's that is made in London, England with a number for a pipe shape (357) stamped Cloister. Anyone ever heard of them?

I've never heard of cloister being referred to in the pipe world. That's a nice looking pipe though. Looks like a small bowl - a nice 20 min smoke.

I don't know the brand but it's a ice looking pipe. The shape number suggests that it could be GBD sub brand. Perhaps the murkiest of brands to research.

Would that be a prince?
Really nice lines, and the dark color is really nice.

It is a great smoker...don't remember if it was a basket pipe or not. Back then my boss would throw some Comoys and GBD's into the basket to give folks a chance at a great pipe cheap. If it was stock that hadn't moved he sold it for less just to get it out of the shop.
