I prefer Arango Balkan Supreme and English Oriental Supreme over Penzance mainly because they are obtainable. However if Penzance was more readily available it would be a difficult decision.

Sam ^^^^^^^^^^^ stockpile Sutliff ERR Match.......excellent bulk Match, especially with some aging!! The FDS....OOOOOOOPS....SORRY....FDA can make the blend disappear any time. It’s an underpriced bulk blend👍👍 I’m on it Ted. I’ve only had it fresh. |

Well... I'll proclaim - I like Penzance.
There... I said it!. I also like Ten to Midnight. Highly recommend to find some in a tin, Bulk version IS different, imo.

I've never liked Penzance, consequently my couple of pounds of it will constitute a lifetime supply, should I ever change my mind about it. I have a couple of pounds of Balkan Supreme that I jarred in 2013 and forgot about. I should probably give that a try now that I've regained my ability to enjoy Latakia.

I dunno Arango Balkan Supreme is good..like Dom Perignon....Penzance is like Crystal...both are good to me, but different. Penzance is a "finer" lighter taste than ABS...IMHO.

Believe it or not, I prefer Great Western Brut from NY Finger lakes then either of those, and I even fooled a visiting Frenchman with it. And at 10 bucks a bottle I can drink quite a bit of it. Goes well with ABS, too. |
