Earlier this morning I grabbed a rather scarce model made by Missouri Meerschaum called the Monogram. The Monogram came with a nice ebonite stem which was marked with an M with a white outline. When I got this pipe it was in sad shape and totally unsmokable. I have restored many pipes in the past and also have customized many but the condition that this pipe was in left me unsure if I could salvage it. I took my time and some unorthodox methods to repair it but the real satisfaction came when I hade my first smoke in it post restoration. As you can tell by how I’m dressed we’re in the 60’s today. I enjoyed some of nearly the last pipe full of Mac Baren Dark Twist Roll Cake, keeping it smokey and enjoying every minute of it. banjo

I love the pipe... You did a great job restoring it.
Also good to see other people experience cooler weather like us.

That's a nice looking cob! You look almost identical to my grandfather with that hat on. I never seen him with a pipe in person because he switched to cigarettes in the mid 80s. My grandmother had many pictures though. Thank you for the quick flash back sir

That is a great looking cob Banjo! Maybe the MM company could get it together to re-introduce this fine looking cob once again to the public. They could do some interesting things with the band besides nickel too. Brass, copper, silver, turquoise, bone, etc. Maybe some alternative stems? Yeah, Banjo could pass as a spitting image for my late uncle Vance from Cole City, IL., that's for sure...

This isn’t even all my cobs. banjo When I get up every morning my hair is so wild and askew I often look like Einstein, then when I’m all dressed nicely and the angle is right I look like Don Corleone!

Legend Lover, I refuse to count them, I once posted myself smoking every one I owned at that time and got asked that very question, my answer was the same, I refuse to count them but feel free to if you’d like to know, wasn’t trying to be rude I just don’t want to count them and know how many I have! banjo

Then there are the briars, the Strawberrywood and Olivewood one’s, the Meerschaum and Morta pipes, the Calabashes and some rather special ones as well. banjo

I actually think I prefer you don't count them. It's more intriguing that way.
What I know is that you've got a lot of them... And they are stunning.

I wish someone would make cobs that look like the one you’ve just posted. It looks great.

There are some real handsome pieces here, Banjo. Is that a bakelite stem hanging out on the top left?
