True... I kinda meant, up till a couple of months ago. I know the psd came from there. PSF was a victim of its own success in some ways. I believe before its founder passed they made strides in that regard; unfortunately, all for naught. As a disclaimer, I wasn't kicked off PSF, have no ill will towards anybody at PSF or any intention of posting at PSD. This is my last stand. I was kicked off PSF. Never found out why. |

Just checked, the last forum where I was a member has a grand total of 12 posts since midnight. That should tell ya’ll something how great this forum really is!! |

I agree that this is the most civil of forums, with no people who just wait in the wings for the opportunity to make snide or condescending replies. I've seen that elsewhere. A fine place here. I admit however, to being an Aro basher  |

Aros aren't bad, they are just not for everybody. Personally, I like the aros that I smoke (obviously) but I have a preference now for burley flake.
And yes, I find that I have more post here (800+) in the short time I've been here compared to 400 at the "other" forum that I joined in 2013.

No anti-aro snobbery. If they exist here, they are polite and helpful in their likes Good point. The anti-"gooper" posts can be really tedious, and same with "burning tire" anti-Latakia remarks. I'm not a fan of M79, but I'm glad not to have to read the same "urinal cake" and "grandma's panties" comments every few weeks. I also like that BP seems a lot less clique-ish than other forums. And that relevant topics aren't shut down for no particular reason other than that a mod is tired of it. And, of course, that the no politics rule is actually enforced. Well done, mods. |

Sometimes within a thread we can all get off track...but we find our way back “ without some nasty remark from the peanut gallery “! Ya’ll know what I’m talking about if you’ve been part of another forum in the past. ...I'm always fascinated by how some of our threads go sideways... With some of the other forums I frequent, this place is straight as an arrow. It has quickly moved to top of my list of places to kill time and enjoy good people  |

In most cases this is a good place to waste time. Having a conversation with good people.Then there are the examples of members that go above and beyond, No Names Are Needed they are known.
To top it all off there is a chance something might be learned and/or remembered.
Well the toothless wonder is wanting to speak and the snot locker needs to emptied.

I, for one, am not a top-quality poster. I often reply with a smiley face or a laugh when I think something is funny, but I do that to support the post to which I'm responding. I like to think it makes that person feel good that their joke has resonated with me. I've noticed Cramptholomew doing it with a couple of my posts. It's nice to know that someone has recognised my humour. I'm not sure how many people do most of the time. |
