AJ You think J&R’s has a great stock of tinned tobacco’s......AJ definitely has them beat by a long shot. Also some amazing pipes. May AJ still be sitting in his favorite recliner 30 years from now enjoying his favorite pipes and tobacco’s 👍👌👍👍 |

I can't bring myself to go nuts trying to get ahold of these blends that are only in stock for short periods of time. If a company can't produce enough to meet demand, that's not my problem to fix. There are far too many amazing tobacco blends out there that are readily available and extremely affordable to waste my time chasing stuff like Eso, rare Rattrays and Dan tobacco blends. If I happen to be shopping and it's in stock, I may pick it up, but if it's gone by the time I check out, no skin off my back. There's plenty of readily available and amazing Sutliff to be smoked for a lot less than these $5-10 an ounce tins anyway. |

I think for folks outside of USA, than amount is higher. Just for a single reason - we don't have the same variety. Nor alability. I'll be truthful - guys, I envy
your ability (did I choose a proper noun) to obtain tobacco as easy as placing an order or visiting your local B&M.

I’m not talking about that kind of lucky. I was scrolling through tobaccopipes.com, and noticed they had several Rattray blends in stock. I ordered a tin of Exotic Orange and Marlin Flake, and some other non-Rattray blends. |

I'm in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
It's a second largest city in Canada. Population - 1.75 million.
Places to buy a decent pipe and tobacco - 1.Number of smoke lounges - 1.
For some reason pipe smokers aren't organized, at all.
I asked Blatter guys why wouldn't they do something, they ARE pipe carvers after all.
Didn't get an answer.

That said, we've a load of variety over here, it's just not the same. I was able to secure a couple tins earlier. They aren't cellerable which somewhat puzzles me? The same thing stopped me from cellaring Solani 660 Silver Flake which I like. The contents have to be jarred. As for the tobacco, Exotic Orange didn't rock my world. There are two star tobaccos on TR I prefer but it's all part of the fun. Others who prefer this one should strike when the iron is hot. Nice heads up with the thread.
