How old is my pipe? This is a frequently asked question on the forums. I thought a thread dedicated to this topic would be helpful.
So please, if you need info then browse the thread. If you can help, then please post any links or information.

Great idea. And thanks for the info already shared.
I'm sure it won't affect the bookmarks, but I moved the thread into the pipes section, for neatness.
Happy to make it a sticky if you think that would help.

Sable +1. Dating non hallmarked pipes is the real challenge. I thought I’d see if this thread would catch on. The great thing about the forum is there’s usually a (insert name brand here) guy that can date a pipe or narrow it down to an era. I’ll get my ducks in a row and try post some information on GBD. Now if we only had an LHS guy....

Birmingham hallmark chart for English pipes. I previously used this same chart to date a matching set of GBD bulldogs and case still in my collection to 1949. Very useful this.

Great idea, Dave.
Is this thread intended only to provide sources for folks to be able to date their own pipe, or is this an invitation as well for a member to post images of their pipe, asking for assistance with dating it? Just to avoid confusion.
