I hope everyone on the Virginia, North and South Carolina coasts have buttoned down the hatches and evacuated. It sounds like Florence is a bad one.

Thanks Randy, I’m ready....been through much worse weather conditions. Let’s all who are in the path be safe, rather then sorry. Stay indoors, as far away from glass windows as possible.

Indeed. Thinking of all my patch friends who might be in it's path... And everyone else, to be fair. I wouldn't wish disaster on anyone.
Keep safe, my friends and keep us updated too... Even just to say you're ok.

They are reversing traffic on I 26 east today to get people out of the SC coast. Everyone please stay safe.

If they say get out, it means get out. It's an ugly storm that is going to cause huge amounts of damage. Not stay and then hope someone puts their life in danger to save you. If you leave, TAKE YOUR PETS WITH YOU.
Thoughts and prayers are with all who will be effected.

I live on the western side of the state,and I live on a hill.I don't expect to get flooded although they're predicting a lot of rain..My main concern is trees coming down.I could very well loose power for a couple of days or more.Got plenty of food and water,a full gas tank and a car charger for the phone.I'm as ready as I can be.It's a bad situation though..It's just a waiting game now....One last comment..All of our local weather folks are on Twitter keeping everyone updated.In case we do loose power.
