The storm is gone.It left a lot of destruction in it's path, and at least 16 people are dead.I didn't get any damage to any of my property. One tree fell down the street from me but it didn't hit anything. My family is all safe.I feel for those who weren't as lucky as me.Especially for those who had loved ones die. I've lived to be a 76 year old man. Some folks don't make that long..Life can be cruel.

Still light rain here in Knightdale. No major issues, other than a few downed trees👌👍👍. May the 16 people that lost their life during hurricane Florence Rest In Peace.

Just arrived back after doing some local shopping. For about 15 minutes it was raining buckets, now the sun is out with extremely high humidity!!

Was going to stop at my daughter’s this morning, her street is flooded half way down her block. High trucks are now able to get through, not cars yet. I will try later in the day. The city of New Bern is still under water.

Glad everyone is safe. We're getting some of your rain now but nothing the likes of which you had. Stay safe and dry.

Some strong wind, a day and a half of rain...but we're all good in upstate SC. A big tree went down nearby, some minor local flooding, but glad to see the sun now. My boss lives in Wilmington, and they're trying to find a road to get back home; all of the major roads are damaged and closed. I've heard of one path that worked for someone else in Wilmington, so we just shared it, and hopefully they can get home soon. Prayers for those families who've lost loved ones, and all of the rebuilding to be done.
