Your best resource for the Viking metal pipes is smokingmetal.co.uk as for their briar pipes there is group of guys that are into Grabows don't know their name or location.
I would like to find a couple of Viking bowls. And be able to date a Viking stem.

The Grabow forum seems dead to me if that is the group you are referring to. Unless your Maggie of course.

Here are some notes I have from the Dr.Grabow Collectors Forum. Dr.Grabow Viking introduced 1953 1954, March 16th. Early non-finned Viking US Patent No. D171,694 by Jerome Gevirman. 1956, June 12th. Later multi finned Viking US patent No. D177,972 by Jerome Gevirman.
Your Viking would have been made between March 1954 and June 1956.
