I like the aggressive rustication, along with the nice grain, the contrasts complement each other well, I am betting that it will be a great smoker.

I am glad you're so happy with it! Karl Erik is probably my favorite Danish freehand maker. This one was a pleasure to refurb, and now it's found a good home.
