This next pipe is a prize I won for taking a photo of my Weimaraner, Levi, in his light jacket, we called it his smoking jacket but it was only on him until his monthly application of tick and flea meds dried. Basil Meadows is the Pipemaker who donated the prize and it could be anything the winner wished if Basil had the inventory on hand. I asked for a simple Morta Devil Anse, Basil had other ideas he used a 2 knuckle bamboo shank and short Maple Syrup colored stem with white spacer. Keeping it smokey with that tasty Mac Baren Virginia no. 1. banjo  |

I especially like this one, and from a great pipe maker too. I've only heard great things about basil.

Beautiful Devil Anse Morta pipe, that bamboo shank makes it stand apart from most others. I own 3 Devil Anse Pipes, one is a no name decent smoker that’s been out of my rotation for almost 3 years. Another is an Eltang that was gifted to me almost 2 years ago, took me a year and a half to finally find a tobacco it smokes superbly...Samuel Gawith Full Virginia Flake, aged a minimum of 4 years. Number 3.....and one of my top 5 favorite smokers......my Custom Made just for me by Ron Powell..... RDPipes Devil Anse .......what ever tobacco I stuff it with it smokes superbly 👍👍👍👍👍. I’ve posted pictures many times within this forum. It’s surely a looker!!!

Some guy on the other forum was saying that Basil isn't a top quality pipe maker. I say BS.
