I was looking for something else when I stumbled across this place. You guys are hidin' in the trees, pretty much.
Always good to find an Old School threaded forum in these social media times, though.
Long time pipe smoker, and started on pipe boards before the www existed (anyone remember usenet?). My passion(s) are good pipes, good tobaccos, good books, good dogs, and good conversation. I also like the occasional cat.

adding my welcome/greets from 50miles East of Buffalo, NY. Sure do remember "usenet"....still stoopid enuf to do some "dailies". Sometimes a "rare bird" will contribute a bit. I go back decades with George online. To me he will always be LL. We don't always agree online but we have a good time at shows. George generously hosted me in his home/shop this past spring for some pointers on taking pipe pictures. I took a KC detour on the Thursday before the 2018 STL/Gateway Pipe Show and had a great time, learned a lot and we enjoyed a great lunch together at Q39.  |
