Nice knife, I stay away from them since losing most of the muscles in my hands.

The exposed blade scares me already. I only use a utility knife these days.

Got it today from Hong Kong, Sharp, good locking mech, seems to be very good value for the money, thanks Ted. OK. But can you scrape out your bowl with it?

That knife was made for cutting plugs, never in a bowl, but a lot of my pipes it would go in. Good old Czech tool is ok, although I use whatever’s handy, never a sharp point goes in bowl.

Here's my set up. Works very well even for the really hard plugs. Haven't lost a finger yet...

Depends on what your working with. For the really dense stuff a gentle roll does a nice job of slicing thin flakes, or it chops just like a food processor. The wooden bowl is nice becasue it stays flat and the concave shape keeps stuff off the floor (ie keeps the wifee happy)

Ron, Ace Knives has them back in stock....in a mans color....BLACK....get yourself one!! Your wife might like the knife but it’s the color that caught her eye👍 I got a black, carbon fiber, Ganzo Firebird cleaver Knife for my birthday last month. Very nice. Great for cutting plugs. 👍 I love this knife for cutting up plugs! Thanks for the recommendation, Ted! 👍
