On one of the forums someone, ok several someone’s on several forums, asked how many pipes do you own, I always answer truthfully, I don’t know, never felt like counting them.
I also recently was asked how many bamboo shanks do I have and one poster went on and stated probably more than they had for pipes. Well, I don’t know how many I’ve posted but can truthfully state the bamboo shank cabinet has at least 50 pipes in it, not counting any Meerschaum or Cob I may have with a bamboo shank, as close as I come to counting anything. banjo

Seriously, Dude! if you don't wanna count them I for one am completely cool with it. I'm just happy that you share them via photos with us. I would hope that you wouldn't let the other guys on other sites get to you. Joke em if they can't take a @$^*

That really is a funny question to ask. But folks can be quite curious. My answer is the same, "I really don't know". It's the truth. I quit counting a long time ago.
IMO, if you know how many you got, then you haven't got enough. 😀

Banjo, why count them, just enjoy!! I know I have over 250 but lost count. Many I don’t smoke often. Plus I don’t care to know how many, I still look for a fabulous deal at times. It’s all part of the enjoyment of the Art of smoking a pipe👍
I enjoy seeing you smoke a pipe and having a GOOD DAY, that’s all that really matters!!

I suppose, in your case, the question is asked because people might wonder just how many of your pipes are as exquisite as the ones you show...at least, that's what's in my mind when I see your pipes.
I'm glad you can share your feelings in this forum though.

Banjo/Bamboo is a great guy in many respects...a man to be respected for the work he has accomplished throughout his life.
