I am guessing that this is a new release in the vein of Seattle Pipe Club’s Special Reserve series where (I am guessing) more rare leaf is used?
Jim gives fusiliers ration 4 stars, if this is better it would have to be off the chart.

I’ve enjoyed every Hearth & Home blend that’s been released prior......I’ll have too also try a tin of this new release when available 👍

I like it. I don't know that I can distinguish the Special Reserve from the regular but I've only had SR once. I'll be smoking more when the weather cools down here in AZ.

haveldad just sent me a hunk - probably has personal experience of it? I couldn't quite figure out what the flavor profile of the stuff was. Just know I wasn't a fan. Granted I'd consider it an Aro-English and there are very very very few aromatics I like. |

About 2/3 through a bowl now. The aro aspect is not overwhelming but is definitely ever-present. Since I haven't had the regular I can't compare, but will just say that I find the topping a little odd. It reminds me a lot of the Jack Sterling blends, like Grenadier. A sort of cologne flavor mixed with cola and maybe chocolate. I'm a big Lat-aro crossover fan, but like the Sterlings this one just doesn't do it for me.
I would say if you already know you like the original, it's definitely worth a try. I'll finish the hunk I have, but my tin of the orig will be added to my "to trade" stack. As always, YMMV.
