Went into the 30's here in Conn. for the first time.....Hope we have a mild winter.

The only time of year I really look forward to is autumn. Early winter through the holidays is great, but starting with New Year's Day, a bleak, nearly tangible kind of melancholy sets in. The unshakeable feeling that the world is a year older and showing it. It's like 'hump day' on a grand scale.

The weather has been cooling down a bit here in Bend, Oregon. Mornings have been frosty around 30* to 41* when walking the dogs at 0600hrs. Daytime temps are now in the low 60's to high 60's. Although, we have had a few low 70* days sprinkled in there too. Even though it may be in the 70', there's a coolness still to the temp. Enjoying the color of the leaves as well. Just beautiful colors. Great pipe smoking weather! Gotta break out the heater for the garage (aka mancave)  Amen! Bring on the cooler days an snow. I hear ya brother. Can't wait to crank-up the Craftmans 24" snow thrower  |

95 and sunny here , has been that way for a while some relief coming 85-60 hopefully in the next few weeks..

Temps have been generally in the 70s, with some rain and 50s at night (Fahrenheit, because reasons, I guess). Woke up this morning to full-on frost and 28F temps....gettin' above 40F barely today, but clear and sunny. I seriously love Spring, Summer(yay) and Fall, but if it never snowed or got below 80F again I would be just as glad...... CW
Er.......Arghh.
