So, I ran by my local B&M today. I have not had great experiences in the past, and I thought my complaints yesterday in a thread may have been a little undeserved. Everyone can have an "off" day...or five.
Well, I had a very different experience. Somehow, we got on the subject of the impending FDA changes and "lost" blends, namely McClelland, and the guys were unusually pleasant. Well, unusually pleasant for me given my past experience. The co-owner mentioned from the back that they still had McClelland 925 and 2020 in bulk. I asked if I could have it all, but they are limiting it to 2 oz at a time. Not only did they have it in stock (under the counter by the way), they were not price gouging like we have seen. I paid $31 with tax for two ounces of each. I also picked up 2 oz of Peterson Irish Whiskey. Gonna be a good day!
