It might take you almost 12 hours to find anything you want, though.... I was thinking this would be a good time to buy a Sav, and there were like 3 in stock. Finally settled on a Pete unfinished, but it's backordered so I'm skeptical that I'll ever get it.

But I've learned to lower my expectations - especially with stuff marked as backordered. I ordered about 5-6 bags of Esoterica a few months ago, and all I got was this lousy free pouch of Drexel VIII. (that should be t-shirt!). |

...appreciate the "heads up", but P&C is slow to ship, everything I want is almost always out of stock, and I don't have time to mess with them anymore...

I've had fair luck with them, although their packing leaves a bit to be desired. Still, 20% off on PS LBF? I'll take my chances.

They seemed to make an effort to hide it. It's not listed with brands and blends, and the only way to find it is to actually search the name. As far as i could tell, anyway. |

I think they automatically have with tobacco for me in the past, but I'll keep an eye out on the bill if/when the pipe comes. I'm a little doubtful because I think it might have been a P&C exclusive. I'm not that knowledgable, but I don't recall seeing this shape in other Pete lines and think it's a really nice one. Especially for the $54 sale price.   |

That's always been what keeps me from buying any pipes except cobs from P&C. I prefer to buy where I know the pipe in the photo is the pipe I'll get. There is a return policy at P&C. But who needs the hassle when alot of the worry can be eliminated by choosing the exact pipe I want from other sites? |

I am told they normally do not do this. So it's good to hear. My opinions are somewhat moot as I won't be buying anymore tobacco in this lifetime, until next month. Besides the issues I've had with P&C, they have always shipped fast, but the service that delivers has always been slow. I can put an order with them on Wednesday. Put in an order from SP the following Monday and SP beats them here by one day. One of the best reasons to continue to buy from them is variety. Even with the hundreds of items backordered they have some stuff others don't have. A lot of it. My opinion, again, maybe moot, is to not buy anything backordered. It is the best game in town for Sutliff and Sutliff Matches. |

I ordered from them before the sale and now I am pissed.
They have poor service. I think they still owe me money for blends never shipped or substituted for things I didn't want or ask for.
But I don't have the time or the will to hassle with emails and phone calls over $20 bucks. I need to get a list of online stores that offer quality service. I would rather pay a little more and have my things shipped on time and correctly.
Of course in the future if they have something I need I might be forced to use them of course..
