...of the "fruity flavors" of tobaccos I've tried, it's been more about "room note" than any taste... Bingo

Gawith and Hoggartg top Black cherry is excellent and the only friend flavored aromatic I really enjoy. how does it compare to blood red moon? I feel obligated to throw in a YMMV warning on top black cherry. I thoroughly enjoy Blood Red Moon and was given a sample of Top Black to try in comparison. All I could taste was perfume. The cause is unknown, perhaps a side effect of the stronger cherry flavor of Cult side by side, but I got zero cherry and 100% makeup/perfume flavor from Top Black.

Blood Red Moon, like most cherry tobacco, tastes very artificial and too sweet for me. Plus BRM has a chocolate flavor as well. Top Black Cherry on the other hand is more of a sour black cherry flavor, and the base is an unsweetened cavendish. I think they really are night and day.

I never detected any chocolate in BRM - I DID detect the cherry...even I could detect that. It was like someone poured some Dr. Pepper in my bowl.

Try Planta: Anno MMVII (Black Mixture)
From the product description: Planta's Black Mixture (the tobacco of the year for 2007) is a blend of black Cavendish imbued with the aroma of thoroughly matured bilberries. It's a delightful experience, pleasing to the tongue, and blended by hand.

I like Paladin Black Cherry and Peter Stokkebye Optimum occasionally. Neither is a goopy aromatic like PBC was years ago.

I describe a lot of Virginia blends as having a 'Juicy Fruit' note. At this point, I gotta wonder if it's a part of the leaf's profile and not really the topping?

Though I mainly smoke English, Balkans, Virginias and VaPers, there are a few interesting choices for those who like aromatic fruity blends, like Stanwell Melange.
PS A properly mature Virginia blend can have interesting citrus etc. qualities.

So far these are the only fruity aromatics I like. Rattray's Exotic Orange Devil's Holiday Peter Stokkebye Peaches n Creme G&H Top Black Cherry Casey Jones Last Ride
Top Black Cherry is the only cherry blend I like. I know Last Ride is supposedly cherry, but it tastes more like vanilla/toffee to me.

Trout Stream is my all time Aromatic though there is no fruit flavor to be had. HH Acadian Perique is not described as an Aromatic, however I find the plum/raisin flavor from the Perique to be especially delightful. YMMV!

You have a better palate than me... most do. I only get the juicy fruit taste from EF, and I smoke plenty of other Virginia’s.

I get if from both Dunbar and Cardiff, though it's buried under Cardiff's topping. Also a little bit from Amphora Yellow and it was mildly present in Bell's Three Nuns Yellow. I kinda think of it as mild honeydew mixed with something like fig or raisin. It's admittedly not often upfront in most, but I do a lot of retro-haling.
It's my favourite taste and I'm always trying to chase it down. I'd say its about time I get some Ef.
