I had to recite a poem once. I chose the Jabberwocky. Everyone was like, "what...?". That's the type of kid I was. Cramp, I can see we're going to get along fine, unless you seek help. Paddy, I think it's great how she did it, and I am a little less trustful of many teachers than I am students. In fifth grade our teacher drew a picture of an atom. It was a little circle with circles hovering around it. I asked the teacher that since there was space between the the circle wouldn't that mean that things are never truly touching something else. (I hadn't learned about fusion yet). The teacher and the whole class, which included my twin bro, laughed at me for ten minutes. Forty years later I am watching a Nat Geo doc and they are talking about all that boring stuff. Then the narrator says that next they will explain why things never truly touch. I called my twin and gave him some serious fecal matter. He took it well and said, well, no issue that you were smarter than the teacher. Moral to the story: Learn what interests you. Do it your way. All else will eventually fall into place and you'll be as smart as m.... NO WAIT!!! Never mind David, if I’m down all I have to do is look for one of your threads. Great sense of humor.....👍👍👍👍👍 |

the class, specifically those teaching the class, lol. ...understood... I had some outrageously dumb-arse English teachers in HS and College... ...don't appreciate whoever is editing my language... "a**" is no worse a word than "arse." |

...understood... I had some outrageously dumb-arse English teachers in HS and College... ...don't appreciate whoever is editing my language... "a**" is no worse a word than "arse." I believe it's the software. There's a profanity filter, but I thought it was switched off after the debacle a few weeks ago when every word that had the three letter a$$ was changed to arse...eg. glass. |

Good early morning from the States Paddy, Justin took care of this issue within the past month, but it’s back. For me not a big deal....still let’s me spell “ jackass “.....lol. Have a great day, I won’t be on here much today. It’s going to be a loooooooooooooong day for me!! Leaving here in about 3 hours, only God knows when my day will be complete!! |

When I wrote glass, it didn't change it, so I thought I'd write glass and change the gl to white text, but then it DID change glass to arse. Who knows what's going on. I couldn't be arsed (spelled like I meant to spell it) finding out. |

I noticed that in a 1911 thread last week, a gun with the hammer pulled back is roostered. I wonder if trailboss will now have to smoke rooster-strong tobacco.  |
