What's your ashtray?
I glued a cork knocker to a pyrex pie pan and set it on a bar stool. Great ashtray for under $25.

My lawn. Not a smart-arse, I just smoke outside. You beat me to it. I just dump on the grass and that does it for me.

Glued an entire cork to the inside of a tobacco tin with high walls. Works great

Mine is the lawn too since I usually smoke outside, if the wife is anywhere around anyway.

I use a very large cigar ash tray , with this thread I will glue a cork in it. I was thinking about asking Santa for a pipe ashtray. We will see if I have been naughty or nice

Empty tuna and salmon cans have always served me well.

Outside, I just use the pointy end of my tamper to help dump the dottle and then it goes on the ground. In the smoking room, I have a large ash tray, but no knocker. I empty the bowl the same way as outdoors, with the aid of the pointy end of a tamper. Most of my tampers are whittled twigs.

A trash can if I'm indoors. The lawn if I'm outdoors.

Want a whole collection of ashtrays? Take a pottery class. I have a whole bunch of inadequate bowls and cups of various really cool colors.

I've a bucket of shells in the garage, that my girls took home from the beach. Sometimes I use one of those. They work well.

I wear a flame retardant jumpsuit,so I just use my pocket; The helmet I wear in the sand box works for a knocker.
I have a Peterson's cigar ashtray and just scrape with a pipe tool.

I use an old McClelland tin...Christmas Cheer 2013...also have a wine cork glued to a tin...rarely use that one. When out in the "yard" I just dump it there.

Since I usualy smoke to ash I don't usually need a cork knocker in my sq. black/red Dunhill ashtray.

Ceramic Cuspidor next to my chair, I smoke outside also but, don't feel like getting up to dump it all the time. I dump, run a cleaner through it and then go in.
