Aside from the name, the general thought is that it is a heavier blend. Being more rich and full, it's more suited to evening, after a nice meal to relax and wind down.
Probably more marketing than anything though.

I have observed that the people who smoke it do so at all times of the day. But most often earlier in the day than at night.

I think sparks has it. If they market a blend for morning, afternoon and evening, then psychologically, people might think they need one of each blend rather than just smoke the same blend all day. |

Too much Nicitione at night, I’m a diehard Nightcap smoker, I have over 10# , I like it with my coffee in the morning, good Kickstarter. I find that different tobaccos have more or less nicotine but each have their own effect. This is how it effects ME BUT NOT necessarily you. Every drug effects different people differently. Anyway I noticed that different strains of tobacco are more stimulating to me. Others make me sleepy. It's technically a stimulant chemical but I am not sure that is a universal truth. |

On the tin it says "a blend for the evening". Why ? I think the idea behind the name was that this blend has enough nicotine to hold you until morning. At least that's how I've always understood it. That said, Nightcap has a medium nicotine hit IMHO and there are a number of stronger blends out there if that's the objective. |
