It looks like Pancho Villa owned the pipe... them crescent smiles look like the tracks from a hammer.

Its a nice pipe, and some good grain, am I the only one who has had a villa. Does anyone else have a briar that's almost too nice to be unknown.

Looks like a shape standard sitting billiard. Not a bad looker, but a well done by the numbers billy.

Well after some digging I've found out that Villa did make pipes, the scarce evidence I found were old eBay listings. Other than a few villas sold there is nothing on pipedia or pipehill. The one I've got was lightly smoked and considerably lightweight with an odd draft hole and a steampunk like stinger. Fairlly simple but a good pipe of English make.

If anyone could shed some light on the villa mystery your input would be much appreciated

It's labeled "054" on the side, presumably a shape number.
Stanwell used to have a #54 billiard shape. Perhaps it is an obscure Stanwell second.

Villa is not in the book "Who Made that Pipe".
