I watched an episode of Barney Miller with the wife on the oldies channel yesterday, and in the opening credits the twin towers stood far out compared to the other buildings, they were as shiny as mirrors. I Googled up that the building was completed in 1973, and Barney Miller ran from 1975-1982.
While they had a vandalizing architect in custody, Dietrich figured out that the suspect had hinted that he had bombs placed in the building that he had been arrested for vandalizing. As the show played out, they failed to get the bombs located, as the time ticked down. There was a loud Boom, and shortly later, Wojo came in all excited and said that there was a muffled roar after the blast, and it was like a giant hand had pushed down from the top, and the building crumbled to rubble in place.
We both looked at each other and said..."that was weird' at the same time.

Charlie, as a fan of the show I remember the episode. Gives me inner chills when I think back. What’s the odds that the scenario written years prior became reality. I lost a close friend that day, a day I’ll never forget.
PS The 1993 World Trade Center bombing as well

About your PS...I couldn't help but think about 1993 also, but I was too lazy to look up the date, "The Architect" aired in 1980, I don't doubt that the 1993 incident was on the mind of the creators.... Wojo's description was indeed chilly.

Charlie, thanks for posting the video. It’s one I would find extremely difficult to watch again. Others should watch the episode.

Given your situation, I can certainly understand.

I remember that one ... weird for sure.
One of my favorite episodes was when Wojo brought in "brownies" from his new girlfriend ... Yemana was hilarious.
Edit: How about this one for prediction!

There’s some interesting stuff on Barney Miller. I see someone already posted the Tri Lateral clip.
There is a theory called predictive programming. Theory states, the powers that be, use entertainment to condition us of things to come.
Careful not to fall down the rabbit hole, but it sure is fun to watch with an objective mind.
You thought that was weird. Checkout this clip of The Lone Gunman. This was a spin-off of the X-Files tv show. This episode was broadcast in the summer of 2001 just before 9/11. In this episode, a 747 is hijacked and flown into the Twin Towers. Super creepy looking back in time about it.

I'm a fan of Barney Miller, but don't recall this episode. Unsettlingly prescient and strange to portray the destruction of a New York landmark like that as well.

Dang it. Now I’m really curious. It must have been something great if you removed it.

On 9/10, Lone Yote bought the last case of tinned aged Bells Three Nuns from the Michael Belfarskinski tobacco shop in Lower Manhattan... he has been smoking them like a greedy Gollum without reaching out and sharing with us brothers of the Briar... he was clearing his conscience, then his greed kicked back in.
I read it before he took it down... just trying to help out.

That show was a bit weird in general..Maybe that's why I watched it so much.
