After the stress of the last month, I have returned to the patch, and smoking my trusty SwissAna, with some cherry bomb from the Scandinavian group. It's a cold October in Illinois, so I'm not going to be out long. Hope everyone is doing well and staying warm. Nice to see you, hope your doing well. Good to see you are back...you've been missed. As Ted said, hope you are doing well.

Last bowl of the day--McConnell's Scottish Flake in this old Charatan. This tobacco is remarkably similar to Fribourg & Treyer's Cut Blended Plug which is one of my favorites.....

Beautiful, albeit chilly, clear day in Pinehurst today. After singing in the church choir this morning I met up with a couple of great friends for a round on Pinehurst #5. This afforded the opportunity to consume several 858's and Curly Heads. After dinner and a game of cards with Blondie and Seth I made my way up to my office (Mancave) and finished up a few reports for tomorrows meetings. This opportunity lent itself to enjoy an offering or three from my modest baccy cellar. ;-) First up this evening is McClelland's 2005 Anniversary in my Joria Billiard. (seen here lying on the table) Glenrothes is in the glass. Stuff and Things is on the Tellie (youtube)

Since the wife is out of town, the dog and I are enjoying the solitude and hanging out in the living room watching a pretty good football game between the Saints and Vikings. I am smoking some HH ODF in a cheap churchwarden with some decaf coffee to sip on and he is sleeping on the tile floor. We are both quite content.

2008 Haunted bookshop in the RM Perkins Fantasy series dublin. Man this is good stuff. Drinking the last of my stash of Leinenkugels summer shandy. Have constant comment in the contigo for when the beer is gone. Arguing with the meathead because he thinks its time to play.

I had forgotten how good Carter Hall is, because I've been smoking so much Prince Albert lately.
So Carter Hall and Luxury Twist Flake were my all day smokes in my Kaywoodie while I was out and about.
I also forgot how beautiful these women are.... and their voices.. Just everything.
When will I see you again?

Being diabetic, I am, and have always been, subject to cravings. If I eat one oreo, I want another all that week. If I see a hamburger on a billboard, it is all I can do not to pull off and get one. A double, with cheese.
So it is with Billy Budd Blonde. Luckily (and I have checked on myself), tobacco seems to have no discernible glycemic effect on me. And so, I says, give in, I says.
Billy Budd Blonde in a churchwarden.

Peter ^^^^^^^ Chief Joeseph spoke the truth. Part of my career was profiling, when one had to many words I knew they were speaking far from the truth.

Thanks Walt, picked it up back in 2017 when I went on a tour of the Dr. Grabow Factory in Sparta NC. It was on the "Scratch n Dent " shelf. It was unfinished. Took er home and spent a few hours polishing it up. Great little smoker.

Had some Lane Ready Rubbed out of a Savinelli Canadian and then some Luxury Twist Flake out of a bent Peterson. Probably have something aromatic before bed.
I've really been enjoying Lane Ready Rubbed. I was planning to finish the can I have and go back to Carter Hall for my OTC fix, but I may stick with it.
