I went against my normal routine and packed another bowl of Tilbury in the same Stanwell bent bulldog. Great smoke and great pipe. Sitting under the porch in the rain with a glass of wine. Peaceful.

The nor'easter passed surprisingly quickly and I squeezed in a few back to back bowls of St James Flake in a meaty Custombilt. I didn't mean to make these two Custombilts into my daily pipes, but the break-in process has led to daily smoking. By 1950s standards, they have a wide open draw, and, well, they hang well. I'm a dangler. Can't help it.

Smoking some Piccadilly in a Micoli I pre charred hours ago. Black coffee on the side. Wife had to be at work by 2am this morning and that makes three times this month on a Monday morning if your ATM card say Pulse on the back and works this morning you know who to thank. If it does not work give her time to beat the hell out of some poor IT guy. She did not get a nap because the village idiots are still working on the bulkhead. We are on week three now for a thirty foot section. Ok everyone have a great day and stuff.

Smoking a bowl of D&R Rowland this morning in a Dunhill Shell billiard, same as last night. This tobacco smokes so dry, you don't need to change pipes as much.

Almost half way through this bowl of Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite stem. There's a lot for me to do today, so I'm starting early.

Edit... I only had time for a quick one so I used my mr brog churchwarden. I'm starting to fall in love with this pipe.

morning greets all, 37,in Western NY. Rain stopped long enuf to do usual 2-miles power walks, Gurkha 5.5x42 for company. After feeding the Ed, if not actually coming down, more yard work, lots of snipping dead flowers here/there, no need to prune anything.
my fave reply to those wishing "good day". heard yrs ago, "have a day, pick yer own mood but stay outa the "sh****r"
