I have a few that have meaning to me. A Doctor Grabow Savoy straight, carved with a saddle bit.My wife picked it out for me and it smokes just a fine as my more expensive pipes. So of all my herd, that one will most likely be my last one when the time comes.

I have several pipes that are "the one". This Nording is the one that I've owned the longest, over 30 years... This Sav Yacht is just a beautiful pipe... This Dr. Grabow Royalton is a replacement to the very first pipe I ever owned... But this 1962 Dunhill Bruyere Bent Bulldog is probably the one that is nearest and dearest to my heart... before And the after...

+1 on the Restow on the Dunhill. Tons of birdseye on the bottom. Sweet Grabow too. You have the price range covered low to high as far as $$ goes.

WOW!! Is all I can Say. Nice Real Nice. Good comparison lesson on the evils of buffers in the wrong hands. Nothing wrong with the one on the left as a smoker; however, the markings are faded due to over buffing.

I thought it was just the lighting, but the stamping is weak on the left. Still a beauty though.

I have a Comoy #42 that was one Christmas pipes in 1987 the wife bought me. It is treasured because she bought it and also it was our first Christmas together.

85% of the time I am smoking a Savinelli 320 EX or KS. Whether it because the pipe matches me or because I have learned to match the pipe, but these are, IMO, the best smoking pipes. Tobacco that is unruly smokes better in them, and tobacco that is well behaved is a dream in them.
My hard and fast rule is that I never smoke the same pipe twice in a day. So to not over use a 320 I had to spend my tax refund on getting a few of them.
Since this is a rather recent discovery, these 320s will become the pipes I never part with.
The other 15% of the time is spent with one of my chimneys, or other pipes. Chimneys I like because they seem to change the flavor a bit, and the middle third of a chimney smoke is usually the best tasting smoke there is. IMO.
And I occasionally smoke a churchwarden, just because. I mean ya gotta, right?
